VISUAL IDENTITY
However, I deliberately chose to draw inspiration from the club’s early 2000s retro jerseys, embracing a bold and distinctive identity. This approach pays tribute to Palermo’s golden era and its most successful years at the peak of its history.
The supporter’s scarf also became a key element of the project. I intentionally integrated it as a central branding asset, as it is an iconic object that symbolically connects the fan’s passion to their club.
Palermo F.C. is an Italian football club founded in 1900, recognized for its iconic pink and black colors.
The team reached Serie A in the 2004–2005 season under the management of Francesco Guidolin, finishing in an impressive sixth place. That season showcased several standout performances, notably from striker Luca Toni, who scored 20 goals in 35 appearances. The squad also featured key players such as defenders Andrea Barzagli and Fabio Grosso, along with midfielder Eugenio Corini.
This sixth-place finish secured the club’s qualification for the UEFA Cup in 2006, marking Palermo’s first appearance in the competition.
On this occasion, I chose to redesign the club’s logo by modernizing its identity while preserving the elements that define its uniqueness namely its iconic pink and black colors, as well as the eagle emblem.
